Felipe Cornejo and Francisco Laurito met back in Ecuador in 2019, where their musical explorations as a duo began in the context of a quiet house in the mountains, ways away from the city. Their sound is the result of merging a diverse palette of musical influences, framed within the context of jazz, with improvisation as a driving force. The duo plays songs from the standard jazz repertoire, as well as more contemporary and own compositions. The minimalism of the formation: upright bass and guitar provide a delicate, intimate, yet powerful sound, standing in between the electric and the acoustic realm. Currently, both members live in the Netherlands, and share other musical projects.
