FESTIVAL

Stadsfestival MAAS! is het verlengde van je vakantie: een gratis toegankelijk cultuurfestival waar kunst, theater, muziek, dans, film en food samenkomen.

Van 6 – 8 september is het tijd om ‘onderweg naar MAAS!’ te gaan. Tijdens deze ‘Maas voyage’ kun je ‘theater tanken’ bij Het Magisch Theatertje en theaterschool de Zuidelingen, een ‘performance pitstop’ maken bij Banka Studios, en proeven van cultuur bij Kuma Muziekschool Maastricht.

In het weekend van 9 & 10 september transformeren verschillende locaties in de stad in jouw favoriete vakantieplekken. Denk aan Bassin Beach, waar een muzikale en theatrale strandsfeer in en om het water zal heersen. Aan de Costa Kesselskade zing je mee met bekende artiesten, op het Vrijthof vind je de Vrijthof Village, een dorp op het plein in mediterrane sferen met een eigen museum, markt en muziek. En vergeet natuurlijk Camping Kosmos niet! Op het Richie Backfire plein gaat onder de openlucht het dak van de tent! Kan dat? Natuurlijk! Want waar je ook bent, cultuur omringt je.

Het festival is er voor iedereen, van jong tot oud. Er worden zelfs speciaal Maas-Voyage bussen ingezet om je tijdens naar het festival te brengen. Dus duik er ‘es in het programma en dompel jezelf onder in een vakantie vol culturele verrassingen!

We spannen ons in om het festival MAAS! voor iedereen toegankelijk te maken. Naast het feit dat het festival volledig gratis is, zorgen we ervoor dat de locaties gemakkelijk toegankelijk zijn voor bezoekers met beperkte mobiliteit of rolstoelgebruikers.

Costa Kesselskade, Vrijthof Village en Bassin Beach zijn allemaal gelijkvloers toegankelijk.

Voor Camping Kosmos is er bij de ingang een trap aanwezig. We hebben echter een alternatieve ingang voor mensen met beperkte mobiliteit of rolstoelgebruikers gecreëerd. Deze ingang bevindt zich aan de achterkant van het festivalterrein, naast het witte huisje en de slagboom. Je kunt deze ingang vinden door het volgende adres in te voeren: Fransensingel 65, Maastricht. Hierdoor hoef je niet de trap naast Lumìere en Bureau Europa te gebruiken.
