PAS maakt dit jaar een uitstapje naar festival MAAS!

Samen met Lumière Cinema vertoont Studium Generale drie korte documentaires over wetenschappelijk onderzoek waarna ze in gesprek gaan met wetenschappers.

In The Underground Astronaut neemt evolutionair bioloog Toby Kiers ons mee op haar epische missie om wereldwijde schimmelnetwerken in kaart te brengen en te begrijpen, voordat het te laat is. Dr. Roy Erkens, verantwoordelijk voor het onderwijs in plantenevolutiebiologie aan het Maastricht Science Programme, deelt zijn inzichten met ons.

PAS is making a little trip to festival MAAS this year!

Together with Lumière Cinema, Studium Generale will screen three short documentaries about scientific research after which they will have a talk with scientists.

In The Underground Astronaut, evolutionary biologist Toby Kiers takes us along on her epic quest to map the world’s fungi networks and understand their behaviour before it’s too late. Dr. Roy Erkens, responsible for teaching plant evolutionary biology at the Maastricht Science Programme, joins us to share his insights.
