Op 5 jarige leeftijd begon hij met het bespelen van de accordeon. Al op jonge leeftijd deed hij mee aan concoursen in Nederland en België, waar hij verschillende malen kampioen is geworden. Na meer dan 25 jaar orkest de Fiesta`s heeft hij nu een succesvolle solo zangcarrière waarbij iedere Maastrichtenaar wel een of meerdere liedjes luidkeels van hem meezingt.

At the age of 5 he started playing the accordion. At a young age he participated in competitions in the Netherlands and Belgium, where he became champion several times. After more than 25 years of orchestra de Fiesta’s, he now has a successful solo singing career in which every resident of Maastricht sings along with one or more of his songs.
